Abstract:

This article analyzes the state of coniferous plants on the example of ordinary pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) growing in areas with different environmental pressures: urban forest park zones, suburban forests and in conditions of weakly disturbed territory of the projected nature monument of regional significance “Tundrinsky Bor” in the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug- Ugra. The indices of the content of the main photosynthetic pigments in pine needles in the conditions of the urban forest park zone in comparison with the coniferous plants of the weakly disturbed (background) territory are given. The physiological state of plants can be assessed by the degree of activity of the photosynthetic apparatus, which is directly related to the pigment composition and the accumulation of biomass of needles, as well as the content of trace elements.

Keywords: Pinus sylvestris, pigment activity, chlorophyll.
